EFFECTIVE REMOVAL OF PERSISTENT SCALING

Shot blasting is used to remove hard contamination or to pre-treat solid surfaces in sections of waste incinerators. A wide range of shot blasting methods is used, depending on the substrate, the level of contamination and the part of the installation.In addition to shot blasting, Conservator is able to remove refractory masonry, tiles and/or concrete, using demolition hammers.

Technique

  • Grit blasting, SA1 – SA2.5, blasting for benefit of inconel, after chipping off refractory masonry, blasting of refractory masonry.
  • Chipping off refractory masonry as a preparation for blasting the membrane walls.
