SHOT BLASTING

Shot blasting

Effective cleaning using, for instance, grit blasting requires a lot of skill. The required result depends on what the customer wants. Shot blasting techniques are predominantly used to obtain a clean surface by removing contamination in the form of adhesive residues on solid surfaces. Depending on the required application, advice in relation to the depth of the surface cleaning is important.

Applications

  • Cleaning by shot blasting solid walls, bundle sections and E filters
  • Cleaning by shot blasting refractory masonry
  • Cleaning by shot blasting as preparation for Inconel weld on work

Benefits for the customer

  • When shot blasting refractory masonry, a huge waste flow is created containing remnants of shot blasting media and residues of the refractory masonry. In order to prevent this waste flow, we can also shotblast refractory masonry surfaces with steel. By recycling the steel, we can reduce the waste flow with approximately 90%.
  • In addition to grit blasting, our organization is able to offer many other cleaning technologies. This allows us to offer our customers complete solutions. By combining cleaning activities, we can obtain the highest level of lead time efficiency.
